As First Lady of Metropolitan Baptist Church, it is both my honor and privilege to welcome you to our church family. Alongside my husband, I am committed to helping cultivate a community where love, accountability, grace, and genuine connection thrive. Thankfully, the people of Metro make that calling a joy.

Serving as Executive Pastor and leader of our Women’s Ministry, Sisters With Vision (SWV), I strive to lead with excellence, humility, authenticity, and a heart for God’s people. Here at Metro, we have witnessed God’s healing power, sustaining power, and unfailing faithfulness time and time again.

​

My family’s personal journey, particularly my son’s health challenges, has reminded me that God not only answers prayers, but He also draws near to the brokenhearted. Through every trial, He has proven Himself faithful. He never leaves us nor forsakes us, and He walks with us through life’s most difficult storms.

​

One of my favorite lines from my book, Storm Watch, is:

"The storm is worth the testimony.”

​

That truth has carried me through many seasons, and it is my prayer that everyone who walks through the doors of Metro leaves encouraged, knowing that with faith in God and a life grounded in prayer, they can overcome any storm they face.

​

I am also passionate about ensuring that no sister is left behind. Through Sisters With Vision, we are committed to empowering women to walk confidently in their God-given purpose, embracing the favor, strength, and victory that comes from belonging to Him. We believe that queens don’t merely survive—they thrive. We walk in victory, not defeat, and we are committed to turning pain into purpose for the glory of God.
